What is your current mindset?

You need to have the right mind-set before attempting goal setting.

Start by believing in yourself, your ability to achieve your potential – not easy to I know, but it is achievable.

Where are you in your stage in life with your skills?

You have achieved a lot of life skills so far.

Do these stand you in good stead to move forward? Why not try and start with your current skills to date?

Can you let go of things?

Many of us dwell on past experiences. This drains us of positive energy.

These circumstances bring frustration, stress, and anxiety. We should strive to figure out what we can control and start there, letting go of the things that we cannot control.

Other tips:

  • Don’t limit yourself
  • Develop the right mind-set
  • Have a peer role model
  • Have the right kind of cheerleader
  • Handle stress better
  • Have small “wins”
